Montenegro welcomes new UNDP Resident Representative

Daniela Gašparikova, UNDP Resident Representative

Ms. Daniela Gašparíková (Slovakia) has been appointed as UNDP Resident Representative for Montenegro in April 2019.

Daniela has 16 years of experience working for UNDP both in Europe and Asia-Pacific regions. Prior to this appointment, Daniela served as Deputy Resident Representative at UNDP Mongolia since April 2016. She also served as RBM, Monitoring and Evaluation Team Leader in UNDP Bangkok Regional Hub (2011-2016) and led UNDP Country Programs’ implementation in five Central European Countries out of UNDP Regional Centre in Bratislava, Slovakia (2005-2010). Daniela started her development professional career as a Program Officer for Social Inclusion with UNDP Regional Centre in Bratislava, Slovakia. Prior to joining UNDP, she worked with the textile services business association in Brussels, Belgium (2001-2002) and for the Slovak Government (1999-2000).

Daniela holds a holds a Postgraduate Diploma in International Relations and Master’s degree in modern linguistics, both from Comenius University in Slovakia. She speaks English and Russian.
